Wavelord has loud buzzing/hum, even when bypassed

So I've built a Wavelord is completely functional with working LED's, but it emits a loud hum when engaged, and a slightly quieter hum when bypassed.

I used an NSL-32, and a 2n5457 for Q1.

Anyone else having a similar issue? I can do some voltage readings for stuff if you all need more information.
