what's that distortion /fuzz?

What's that distortion/fuzz that comes up at aprox 1 min
anyone knows what it is???

It's cool. Sounds like a misbiased fuzz of some sort, and if I know my Big Sugar, I'll bet you dollars to donuts its a combo being used there.

Off the top of my head I couldn't guess, but I bet there's some way to get the story. The guys in Big Sugar are pretty open to sharing that sort of info, so you could probably find a way to email them and ask them yourself.
