Harbinger 2 suggestion

Since the Harbinger 2 has an optical control for the Speed, has anyone tried to build either version of the Harbinger in an old Morley pedal.  I wonder if that might do two things
1 - larger shell with Power Supply
2 - Set up for an optical control already

Just an idea
