Transistor orientation in LaVache

In the build diagram, the transistor is not oriented at 9:00 or 3:00, but kind of 11:30ish.   Is there a reason for that?  Is it yet another gap in my stomp box building intelligence?  Thanks.  I appreciate it.

It actually says in the build docs! The usual 2N5088 has been replaced by the 2N3565, which needs to be oriented as the layout picture depicts. If you had one it would make sense because that transistor doesn't have the usual silicon package your are probably familiar with.

Thanks, Jacob.  You're right,  I do not have a 2N3565, I was going to socket a 2N5088 and try it out.  That was my confusion.  Another gap filled.  Thanks
