Pots controlling white noise while Chasm Reverb is in bypass

A few weeks ago, I built a Dead Astronaut Chasm Reverb. It works just fine when engaged, but in bypass, there's a lot of white noise that only goes away when either the mix or volume pot is turned down. One or the other can be turned up with no effect on noise but if both are turned up passed 9 O'Clock or so, noise happens. I've tried replacing the volume pot to no avail. I made a video demonstrating my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated
