Macron VTL5C3

Are there any circuits that do well with the Macron VTL5C3 vactrols? I've noticed a lot of the previous uses for them are now recommending the real version.

I've used the Xtrive versions and they have done will in modulation circuits at least.

Yeah. I just have a few laying around and was wondering if anyone knows of some projects that do well with them.

Ive got one as well I have been wondering it its worth using.
Why don't you Socket the Vactrol next time you need to use one and compare between the Macron and a good xvive or excelitas vactrol.
I am not sure if they are all bad or just a large portion of them, I think I will do the socket thing with mine when I find a use for it.

Yeah Ill do that. I have used them before in a few builds  but I cant remember if they sounded OK.
