I did some experimenting with R10 and R11 swapping various values. What I have settled on for  now is R10 2k and R11 2k2. That may or may not make sense from a circuit perspective but it sounds better to me. With those values you still have a brighter tone and a darker tone, the difference is just not as drastic and both sound better to me than the stock build.

For future reference i figured I would weigh in on an old topic. I love my Egodriver. I use an extremely bright amp (marshall). I used to own a hot rod it was much darker than the marshall. Some amps don't dance well with certain pedals. I think this point might have already been covered in a different thread. This is for anyone looking into building one.
