Doubelganger LFO Rate LED

When I planned out this build, I mistook the HF and LF Span LEDs for rate LEDs. Are the span LEDs necessary or for visual? Can I jump from the rate pots and add rate LED indicators?

Looking at the schematic, I think I can connect my led (-) to lug 3 of the rate pots. Can anyone confirm?

The HF and LF LED's on the PCB go at the same rate as the LFOs assigned to them, if that's what you mean, and in the same depth as the LEDs driving the phase engine.
