OA7 diodes?

Anyone ever try the black glass OA7 diodes? I'm thinking about buying a couple but hell they are expensive. Just wondering if anyone experienced any tonal mojo from them..

I have a lot of them and to my ears there s nothing special about them . I would not pay more than 50 cents each .

Bearing in mind my ears are an alloy of lead and sawdust, NOT gold, I hear far more of a difference going from silicon (whether power or signal) diodes to germanium, than I do between various varieties of germanium.

Haha I feel like I have a hard time telling the difference between different germ trannies and I have a feeling these would be no different.  I picked up some D9E, D9B and D9V for a decent price but haven't tested them yet. I'll let you guys know if I can tell the difference between them.
