Ok, I've decided I would rather know the answer then be embarrassed about asking it. You would figure with all the literature I've read this would have popped up somewhere. What is the L pad for on a pcb....

what is the SW pad for?

Thank you for any and all information. Also, keep the snickering to a minimum.  ;D

Same thing. SW seems to confuse some people so I started labeling it L instead.

Thanks Brian. What is the L pad for?

It usually stands for the LED, more precise the positive leg of the bypass indicator LED. No need for a CLR, that's already on the board. The negative leg then connects as usual to the bypass switch as per the standard wiring diagramm.

Thank you very much.  I thought I was missing out on something, but I always use a daughter board with its own bypass LED indicator. Thanks again guys.

You mean it's NOT a L-pad attenuator?

Man, I'd better unplug my 2204 amp and 2x12 cab from that PCB, pronto... ;)
