Fatpants Mod: Less Vol Boost?!? More Tone Coloration

I want to keep tonal coloration of the FP but lose some of the volume boost...

Change value of Volume pot? Resistor in parallel with Vol Pot?

try decreasing R4, try something like 22k, but you'll have to experiment. it's probably easiest to socket that value.

R4 seems to be there just to bleed off some signal to ground.

as for colouring the tone more... maybe a cap in parallel with R4? try a small value then work your way up. start with maybe 500pF. that will shunt some of the high-end off to ground.
