You might like the suhr riot.  It cleans up.  I haven't tried the riot reload (new version of the pedal).

It actually does a decent job cleaning up being a high gain distortion pedal. I just populated a riot pcb and have it on the test rig. Not bad really in the context of a high gain pedal.

It certainly doesn't clean up like a sweet honey overdrive though  :)

the riot is the same circuit as the crunchbox- i think it just has different clipping options

check the schematics but i think what i'm saying is troof

I believe your are correct sir. I notice this one cleans up "best" using the voicing option of the blue LED and 1n34a diode. It also happens to be the overall clipping option I like best for cranked volume/gain.
