There used to be a seller in Vancouver for flame, quilt, and spalted maple that I bought a lot of excellent bookmatched pieces for < $15 a set.  Still have a bunch of them waiting to be used.

Wow. Have that user name German? I got a nice piece of African mahogany off eBay out of Tennessee for not much. 4/4 though. I'll have to book match myself.

Sellers name is wood_to_works.  Looks like his prices have gone up, though to be fair, I always bought 1/4 pieces from him and now it looks like he's dealing mostly in 3/4 and up.  He's got some killer pieces listed.

Hey you guys. I have seen other builders put a nice piece of wood on the top of their enclosures and then seal it in epoxy. How thin do you think the piece is? 1/8? 1/16?
I'd really like to try this technique. Any info/suggestions are truly appreciated.
