Zero Point Mini enclosure question

Would it be ok to 'wire' the pots in the Zero Point and put it into a larger enclosure? I'd like to space out the knobs a little and maybe use full size ones instead of the suggested plastic ones. (I have no reason to believe that I can't but I'm still new at this and don't want to leave anything to chance).

Should be no issue with that, just watch that you don't wire them backwards,or the knob will work backwards too. I do it all the time.
