SPDT on/on switch polarity?

Is there polarity to a spdt on/on switch? I'm building the '14 Slow Loris and the board seems to have markings for polarity (one hole has the square around it).

No, there is no polarity on a SPDT (or any other mechanical switch).  I think that one has a square pad as it links to the square pad of the LED clippers.

There isn't a polarity but there is an orientation. The square pad goes to pin 1 of the switch and that helps to know which way the switch orientation goes with the schematic.
