Why do you have a resistor on the footswitch of the SHO?

Why do you have a resistor on the footswitch of the SHO?

I'm guessing that's a zero ohm resistor.  Useful as a jumper.

Tell me about your meathead... whats it based on?  I like the axial caps, NOS?

It's more or less in the fuzz face realm of things and I believe those caps are NOS axials. I got them from a friend in the UK
