theremin aluminium box

hi, i got a theremin, and the enclosure its maded on plastic, but i have seen some with pedal enclosures, so as far as i know enclosure must be plastic, but at this point im not so sure about it

i dont think it needs to be plastic...

that look nice, i thought plastic were use because, theremin doesnt have to be isolated from the outside like pedals, and i think wood, does not isolate, and yes its a great idea to make a wood enclosure, i think it will be my second choice, if i cant get aluminium to work

I dont think a metal enclosure will work well. It will radically change the tuning, as the metal will have a fair amount of capacitance with the antennas, more than your hand which is trying to play it.

i leave it on the plastic enclosure, but, i had to change the antenna, and only could get a big radio antenna, the problem its that the theremin stay tuned on the same freq like if it got stuck in there
