Hi there!

Just finished my Nautilus. It works pretty much good. All modes and range and sweep. The effect works.

The only thing I found out of normal is that when I hit a string, as the notes sustain it makes like a "fizzy" noise... like a really low fuzz... it saturates. This happens in somes modes and depending if Range and Sweep mode is set.

Triple check everything. Accidentally discovered that if I disconnect the power and I turn ON the effect, the signal goes through. Is this normal? Does not supposed that if there is no power through the circuit non signal should pass?

Any opinion is welcome!

It's actually not uncommon for a disconnected circuit to pass some signal through. You wouldn't think, but it happens in some cases.

Fizzy sound could mean a few things. You haven't really given enough information to provide much of an answer. Have you used any substitution parts? Have you measured any voltages on your build?

Hi Brian!

All parts are as listed on the project. The only mod is a 500K C pot for gain (as indicated as possible mod).

Voltage measures are:

3      -1.5 mV
4      8.8 V
5      2.7 mV

10    0V
11    -8.67V
12    0V
13    -2.9 mV
14   .-3.5 mV

IC2
