Help with Lamp orientation / polarity

Hello,

I am trying to use an old transistor checker chassis as the enclosure for an FX pedal, and I'm hoping to use the lamp as the LED.

Unfortunately both original cables are green, there's no part number I can find on the lamp, and I haven't been able to dig up a schematic for the transistor checker.

Any clues as to which terminal is positive and which is negative?

The transistor checker ran on a D cell, so I assume it's a DC circuit.

I have no idea, but I will tell you that on the dc jacks we use, the ground is the center (B). Hook up a clr up to (A) and if you have a testing rig, use that to check it.

If it's an incandescent bulb, like in an old flashlight, it will probably light up either way.
