fwiw i have not heard anyone else complain of defective material, but i will send you another one free of charge on different material if you would like (if you bought that one from me).  can you pm me?

I think the problem is worsened by soldering the wires from the same side as the copper. When you pull the wires you are putting all that stress on the copper. Put the wires through the side without copper and solder. When the wire gets pulled, it will pull the copper towards the PCB and less likely to lift.
