Is Micro Sol Neccesary with Waterslide Decals

Hey, i´ve done that! so, after applying your decal normally, you get a little paper towel and dip in clear vinager.
than rub gentle the edges of the decal. The weak acid will help to dissolve the residue of glue on the edges.
Anyways, if you have enough clear coat on the top you won´t see the edges...

Anybody use decals on polished aluminum? got a couple of polished boxes.

Yep. I like to call it a feaux etch.
Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

Blearyeyes, I am doing just that with this enclosure.  Had some issues with the decal peeling up when I poured the envirotex.  I will probably redo this because I'm not happy with inkjet decal (just got shipment of some laser printer decal) and the edges are much worse than the pic indicates.  Overall, the decal on polished box looks pretty in some instances.
