What the hell are you doing there?

Everytime i went there it was just a stop to fuel the plane and continue our way up north.

I've never seen the northern lights (nor have I ever been in place to have seen them), I've never been to the Hudson Bay, and I've never been that far north.

This past summer I was looking for places pretty far out that I've never been and found Churchhill, with all it's various accommodations.

It seems like a very arbitrary place to say I've been, and that's the sort of thing I like.
 
I'll be in Winnepeg on the night of the 14th.

Really, you could come visit me in Calgary or Jacob in Yorkton, yet you elect to get chased by polar bears (there were two maulings last week) in Churchill.  I'll be in the Peg in a few weeks, but our paths won't cross.

As far as what's more north, there's much more north than Churchill.   I spent some time commissioning the diamond mines in the Northwest Territories, and even that isn't the peak of how much more north you could be.

At some point in his 9 year 10 month period of service with the Louisiana National Guard, PVT Angelo (surely he was a Private at the time) found it necessary to purchase extravagantly expensive cold weather goretex boots. And today, I thank him.

I'm only in Winnipeg for a night.
I saw the monster-bus tour.  I'm going to do that one day.  There's also some dog sledding thing I'm going to do.
For the rest of the week I'm just going to be some weirdo out-of-towner there for no apparent reason.
