Just in the video comments:

"kickstarter's price was $1000 for the first 25 people, then $1200 for the next 25 and then $1400 for the next 100."

Then, their answer in the FAQ section of the kickstarter page:

We don't know yet. There are a number of factors that influence the retail price. One of them is demand. Once we have an idea of demand, we will better be able to quantify the price.

Looks like there are some left at $1400 on the Kickstarter page.

Nice little CNC.. Pretty well thought out, and it seems really well-made! Really compact, too.
But even if there's demand, I think it's gonna cost a lot. I mean A LOT. At least, for us DIYers, I don't think it's worth it. I think a while back, Brian posted that he purchased a CNC machine. For someone with a lot prototyping like madbean, it truly worths the price, though!
BTW, I'm on search for parts to build my own desktop Dremel CNC machine..
