Hi all,

Im thinking on building an env filter / auto wah kinda pedal soon ;)

What pedal do you guys prefer: The Mutron III or the Diphtonizer?
am i missing an important one?

Thanks ;)

Yep, meatball definitely, I've made all 3. I'd suggest the dipthonizer also

chordball

I guess I'm the odd one out but I prefer the mu-tron (nautilus). The meatball is highly tweakable but you can add extra controls to the nautilus and have the same features. I can't give a technical reason but I find the nautilus sounds better and reacts better. To me the nautilus just has more of that classic sound I want. I have added attack and decay controls to mine and plan on adding  sensitivity control and blend control on my next build using the naughty fish board. Maybe the difference in power supply plays a part.

sounds like all 3 are great.
according to the demos i like all but meatball and mutron maybe sounded best to me
