So I bought this

Got my ZPDX all wired up and running through the unboxed verification.  I can get get the normal style dc jacks to work fine and power the pedal but for some reason the smallbear jacks don't seem to work.  What am I missing?  I have tried every possible iteration of pins to power and ground and they just don't work?  How are they supposed to be wired??

I wonder... Maybe this thing isn't compatible with a 1-spot ???

Have you plugged the ps into the jack and then tested it with a meter?
Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

yup nothing.  I am really thinking the 1-spot's barrels are too short.  I tried a couple other 9v supply's that I have and their lengths are all the same so I can't test if that's the case but it sure looks like it might be.

Sounds like you may need new jacks then I'd say. Isn't the one spot 2.1x5mm?

Read small bear's description of the DC jack you used. It says that it's made for a long shaft.

You can cut away the plastic around the plug to make it fit if you can't get a different jack.

Yeah, that's not compatible.  :'( You should get these next time you need small DC jacks:
