Boneyard II

I would like to ask Brian,
if the Boneyard II is based on Carl Martin single channel Plexitone.

It's the same idea, but it is not a clone. I don't know what they have done for the single channel version. The BoneyardII has the same core circuit as the Boneyard, but it adds an input buffer to reduce the problem of oscillation. You can also wire it for either True Bypass or buffered output and there is a mod which also adds just a touch of the buffered clean signal mixed to the distortion output which sounds awesome. It has some value changes which I think make it even better sounding, too. Lastly, it may run off +/-12v internally instead of +/-9v. I haven't made a final decision on this.

Actually, the only thing holding this one up is a bit of a pop in buffer mode which I can't seemed to get rid of yet.

Also do you believe after the value changes boneyard will gone sound like love pedal purple plexi?

I believe that purple plexi is similar to boneyard or plexitone, am I right?
