changing pot values

I have a bunch of 300kb pots that I want to tranform into 100kb . Since my DMM is out of order I cant test it so can somebody can correct me if Im wrong :

Will it works if I put 1 75k between lug 1 and lug 2 And another 75k between luh 2 and lug 3 .
Will it works without affecting the taper .

Unfortunately, you cannot change the value of a pot without changing the taper. Your solution will create an "s" pot:
