Glitterrattii problem

Hi everyone. Just built this and cant get any sound except ticking. I check to see if I installed something wrong but everything seem good. Didnt see any solder bridges or any cold solders. Replaced both opamps and still ticking. It seems to be getting power but Im stumped. I even busted out the audio probe. Any ideas? Thanks.

it's probably best to systematically trace through the circuit, so break out your probe again...

check the emitter of Q1 (where C2 and R3 meet) and see if you've got signal continuity. if no, problem is in the input buffer.

check the output of the first gain stage (where R7 and C5 meet). if it's good move on to the next gain stage.

I'm just going to list out the points.

C8 and R15

C10 and R17

Lug 3 of volume pot

C16 and R23

Work your way through these points and when it stops working, go back and troubleshoot from there.

Thanks for the reply but I figured it out. It was a bad dc jack. Didnt think thoses could go bad but i guess they do. Thanks again.
