quick road rage question

I was building a Road Rage board for 15V output and installed D4 even though it isn't needed according to the build doc (ooops).
Do I need to bother lifting this or will it be happy sitting there doing nothing but adding mojo?

Leave it there, its polarity protection for the -9V but wont hurt anything
