so im sitting here scratching my balls with a LM386 thinking of my next build. im trying to figure out if the lid on a Hammond 1455N16xx comes off or if i have to slide it in like i do on sunday morning. i want to make a window on the lid and go nuts with lighting or something. maybe uv lights with flouresent paint on the parts or something

The 1455 series boxes I have used all had lids that slide.

You should be able to go on Mouser and download the data sheet for it.
