Transistor choice for Hipster.

Not sure if this is the place to post this, but here it goes..

I've built a few hipsters up, and i have a selection of transistors at my disposal..

2n3904
BC108 (can type)
BC183C
BC550

Was just wondering what you guys thought in terms of combos, for this circuit i.e. which ones sounds 'raunchier' or 'smoother' etc..


I will have a testing session at some point soon and see what i think of the combos (what differences i can hear), and if i think the same as you guys etc..


Also, if this has already been covered in another thread, please point me in the right direction
