Tool to hold tiny drill bits

I'm using a #60 (I think thats the one) drill bit from small bear to drill my PCBs. In the past I used my old roommate's drill which had a chuck that could get small enough to hold the drill bit. The current drill I have access to can't get small enough to grip the bit. I also have access to my Dad's Dremel. What tool can I get that will hold the drill bit which I can then put in the drill?

I believe it's called a "mini chuck" or a "pin chuck."

I've always called it a collet. That's what they are called on milling machines anyways. You should be able to get different sized collets for your Dremel. In fact I think I have a whole set of them in gauged sizes.

cool, I looked into pin vices awhile ago but local stores around me didn't have one - I could have ordered one by now but didn't heh. I'll ask for mini drill chucks tomorrow, maybe they'll have one.

i used to use the straight shaft bits but i was always having trouble with them. i bought an extra-small chuck to hold them, but they still kept slipping.

finally i started using carbide bits and they've worked great. personally, i think it's a better solution since you can get a bunch of them for about the same cost or less as buying an adapter. i found a local source, but i have ordered for this store before: http://drillcity.stores.yahoo.net/

Yea that's the one I use also. It works for any type of small bit. For the bits from drill bit city that has a bigger base I've been using the default chuck that came with my RTX..most likely the same as the dremel. Here's a cheap source
