My Egodriver died

My egodriver is my main pedal (cant live without it), I was at band practice the other day and during soundcheck the signal faded and cut out. I replaced the battery the pedal is getting juice. I dont know where to begin. I checked all the connections and made sure nothing was shorting out. Its dead. Any ideas?

I would start with taking voltage readings on the IC to make sure it is getting power.

I removed the IC and noticed a leg missing, dont know how that happened. Its fixed now.

Do you suppose it walked off? That has to be the most bizarre parts failure ever! I didn't know chips got leprosy.

This supports my theory that the TL082 is closely related to the armadillo.........
