Lowrider: clean and upper problem

So my problem are:

when the clean pot is all the way down (0), I hear some hiss, and when the pot is all the way up (10), there is some oscilation, but when it's more than 1 and less 9, there is no problem and I hear my clean signal,

my other problem is there is no octave up, I try to check the parts, and of course the trimpot doesnt work,

So if you had similar issue, It's would be really nice
