Rebote Delay Repeats issue

I built a Rebote 2.5 delay recently and it sounds great! But when i have an overdrive or comp pedal turned on, it only gives one repeat, no matter where the repeat knob is set.  But when i turn my Mosfet Boost pedal on, it works as normal.  Does anyone know how i could fix this?

That is baffling.

Have you tried flipping a buffer on and off before the delay as well? That might be a clue.

I have a buffered EB VP Jr from Jhs and i built an AMZ ic buffer and neither help with it. I'm thinking of just building another boost with a trimpot for a set volume and putting it in the same box as the delay.
