Well you guessed it, this is a post about v3205 repeat distortion/noise.  ::) Not trying to beat a dead horse here, but I had some questions and wanted to document my experience to see if others have had the same.

I built from ground up with the final solution listed here:

http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=3366.0

I also installed a switch for the filter cap mod (.022/1uf.) I used a audio probe through headphones to adjust for least amount of noise. Kept balance in middle, didn't have to adjust gain pots to self oscillate. I get distortion or noise on my repeats, but honestly don't know if it is either or. Lowering the input into the pedal via volume knob on guitar or single coil vs humbucker helps. Also using the mod switch on the lower cap value helps a bit. There is an audible level difference (lower, cleaner) on the output of the bbd chips when selecting the lower value cap. there is still a healthy (volume/gain) increase when comparing  the input to output of the first BBD.

So....I saw this post from madbean earlier:

http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=3332.0

where he mentions removing r14 as solving a lot of the distortion issue. The final solution does not incorporate this and instead has adjustments to r17 and r16.  Does this have a similar effect as the removal of r14?

I liked the idea of needing to adjust the gain trims to taste, but as the pedal is now, they are totally counterclockwise and I get oscillation at 3 o'clock on feedback pot. Has this been other mn3205 builders experience with these mods?

Fixed!

V3205 with final solution mods sounds great! A little more trim tweaking and this baby is going to sound killer.

Okay, so I have two dirtbags and neither are working. What was the final build recommendations you used??
Thanks man.
