BTDR socketing

The Belton Bricks are a pain to de-solder but don't fit in regular in-line sockets. So here is a trick -

Take a garden variety Tayda 16 pin leaf socket. Cut out two rows of 5 in-line and solder them next to one another. Insert BTDR3. If you want extra stability use some 3M foam tape underneath the BTDR to affix it to your PCB.

Yeah, the Springboard and FieryRedHorse will be released around the 15th. Unfortunately, there was no way to get them completed before the sale. I just verified the Springboard today.

BTW - the Springboard uses a very clever trick on the BTDR3. One that I haven't seen anyone else do. More on that later.
