I recently got a vintage Ace Tone EH-50 analog delay for cheap. It utiizes 6 SAD1024 BBD chips to achieve a 200ms delay time. I'm planning to pull the 6 SAD1024 chips to repair my Morley flanger and MXR 117 flanger and to build some delicious chorus/flanger projects! My question is can I retrofit MN3007 with the SAD1024 just like what they did with the EHX small stone?...so that the Ace Tone EH-50 can function again as intended...with longer delay time I suppose. Asking the madbeaner experts here!!! tia

It would be better to retro-fit a single MN3005 into the circuit, which it could easily hit the 200ms delay time with less noise and complication. There's no need to go through the work of trying to replace every single SAD1024 with individual MN3007s and they're supporting components.
