I recently hit up an old electronics store brought to my attention by JakeFuzz that had such an astonishing amount of wire. There were about 6+ rows with 20 ft. high shelves full of spools of wire. All sold $5 bucks per lb with exception of silver bonded teflon costing $12 per lb. Must have got about 1000' of 22awg and 500 ft of ribbon cable for something like $12. Even though I didn't get charged for it I think I got the teflon coated, at least that's what I wanted. How can I tell? Take the yellow one I have, it's got 2 colors stripped around the wire. Doesn't melt like the stuff BYOC sends with their kits  :)
