Any substitute for the J175? I can't get one locally, and I was hoping to get my bumblebee finished soon.

The VFE switching uses a P-Channel rather than N-Channel JFET and it seems there are not a lot of varieties of them for through-hole.

Here's the list of currently available ones on Mouser (including the J175).

Boo, I think it was delivered by mouser seperately from the rest of the parts and it came right after we went back overseas. Means that it probably got here somehow, but didn't ever make it to the stash. Hopefully it turns up.

I might just build one of these in the meantime, just to see how this thing sounds:
