Byrdiebox / BTP hybrid?

I was just looking at the layout posted on FSB for the "Byrdiebox" and was wondering 1) if this may become a production board; and 2) if so, would it be possible to incorporate a clean blend a la the Barber Tone Press compressor? Seems like it would make this a really killer comp option!
