Krankosaurus LED wiring diagram

I am desperate for a wiring diagram for krankosaurus that includes wiring for leds.  I have searched for diagrams but I have found inconsistency in a lot of them.

This is the best one ive found but i am confused when it comes to the grounding...

that's a perfectly valid switching solution. when the switch is on, the cathode (negative side) of the led is connected to ground, thus completing the circuit. when the switch is off, the cathode is floating so the circuit is incomplete.

i use this one all the time now because you don't need a pulldown resistor, i recommend it.

Sorry to drag this up but I have a small question and didn't think it worth starting a new thread. The LED wiring that Jordo posted is really helpful but it only shows wiring for attaching an LED to one of the switches.  I would like to have an independent LED for each switch and was wondering if this would work?

That would work except that you should have both LEDs from the same 9V lug on the DC socket. If you wired it like that you'd only get the 2nd LED when using a battery, not with power supply. 
So like this instead:
