So Carvin is back.  Does this smell fishy or was this a lame excuse to sell off warehouse stock because you realize you aren't going to see this stuff again or am I wrong?

Is this the way America does business now?  Rope a dope?  Geez I've dealt with Carvin before but this just feels so cheesy.  I dunno, maybe it's me and I gotta get with the times in terms of marketing.

Wonder if they got bought out and were selling off old stock. Not a lot of info I can find on the situation.

My house is a walking distance with Kiesel which is the parent company of Carvin. I can swing by and ask  ;D Plus, I've never thought who is going to support Steve Vai for the amp. He's been with Carvin for such a long time.

I've worked with two company's that have gone under, had their IP bought and come back. I don't think it's too weird?

From the website: ALL SALES FINAL. NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS. ALL PRODUCTS SOLD IN NEW CONDITION AND WITHOUT WARRANTY.

Sounds like they are changing up something.. Don’t think it’s marketing

No mention of PA, Bass amps, guitars etc:

We will continue our 70+ year legacy by providing musicians and sound professionals with solutions to their everyday needs with tube guitar pedals, in-ear monitor systems, wireless microphones, and gig essentials like D/I boxes and power conditioners

Keisel and Carvin are completely separate.  Keisel was the guitar wing but they separated off a few years ago due to different views on how to run the business.  Based on Carvins 'closing' down, it's probably easy to determine who was more correct.  I'm guessing Carvins reappearing May be due to completely changing what they are focusing on.  Perhaps they managed to get some late capital infusion but it looks like they will be very different going forward.  An uphill battle in this current market, but hopefully they make a good go of it.
