Zirconia vs madbean 4:1 for bass?

I have a 4:1 that I'm building up right now but have always heard good things about the zirconia. Has anyone compared the two? Can anyone say what the differences are in terms of how heybwill sound I'm bass? I'm just looking for a little bit of an enhanced transparent pedal that will smooth things out and give a nice roundness.

I ordered a zirconia. Love my afterlife but want to see if this is a better tool for bass compression.
