Sprague or other large caps

Hey guys, I noticed that in some of the boost and fuzz circuits there is provisions for the use of larger caps like sprague. I am assuming that the original circuits used some type of large caps. Is there any sonic difference between using these and the normal panasonic or films?

Probably not at 9v. It's more of a personal preference/style kind of thing. Sometimes it's just fun to use axial caps.
