It certainly was a bit of a squeeze and wrestling with off board wiring...
This build made me think that it would have been a fair bit easier with smd boards saving space; but then the Aion pcbs are excellent and have great documentation (check them out if you haven't yet I'd say...!), so it was satisfying to get them in there and have it firing up first time after the wrestling with wiring which could have given an issue somewhere. Testament to the 24gauge Smallbear pretinned wire, it works great IMO.
