Went to the music gear expo yesterday at SXSW. Lots of stompboxes there. Strangely, I was not very interested in trying out any of them. I guess I've grown content to research my own stuff and then just build it myself. One thing is for sure, there are way too many "boutique" pedal companies out there. Are there really that many unique circuits? I think not!

I did score a semi-cool t-shirt, though.

I build, and once in a while I might sell, pedals as "Vertigo Effects".

Nice. I feel the same way about pedals. Strangely I am attracted to the new little Ibanez tube screamer though, I don't know why.

Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

Funny you mention that. The only thing that really caught my attention was that mini tubescreamer. It was the only one I picked up and looked at.
