I've stumbled upon the opportunity to trade some pedals for a Northern Guitars 1970's telecaster copy. I haven't come across a ton of info on these but I've been wanting a Tele lately and this looks like a nice guitar. I'm trying to gauge what it is worth to make an appropriate trade. Any info is appreciated. Here is the post I found it on. http://nmi.craigslist.org/msg/4940710111.html
I'm not under the illusion that this is some vintage classic or something like that and it has some extra holes in the headstock where tuners have been changed out it looks like. It just looks like a cool guitar.

Haha, probably a Red Wings fan here in MI. I really hope this trade goes through, I really want this guitar!!! Of course, I have to see how it plays yet but the guy seemed pretty interested and at the price of a delay and a few crazy fuzz pedals... Seems like it would be well worth it.

I have a lotus tele copy for the 80s that I love, play and sound are just superficial, that can all be tweaked. Hope it works out for you, NGD are great days for sure.

Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

I love NGD!!! Hopefully more of them to come soon. I'm also working on a trade with a guy that builds guitars. I have some Birdseye maple planks that I inherited from my Grandpa that I think would make a stunning neck. The day I pay for a custom built guitar with a stash of pedals is a day that I am winning! haha.
