Unfortunately, it looks like the Tails mod is a dud. I worked on it for quite a while and I just did not find a solution that worked well enough. So, my apologies to anyone who was looking forward to that...at least it was a minor feature. I will spend some more time thinking about it but there is no point in holding the doc up further. An optical bypass there would work, but bringing up the LED brightness has to be slowed down otherwise it will still pop (based on my experimentation). That in and of itself may make it not optimal as well.

Thanks for giving it the ol' college try, Brian. Honestly, the DMM doesn't have tails so I'm not too broken up about it. Can you get tails by running it in a switchable loop?
