Me thinks the same.
Put it where you could tap below the strings and use thumb and fore finger for playing licks. Oh yea it turns off in the middle..

Four or five touch sensitive pads on the body of the guitar that then went to delay lines and/or filters and were mixed together at the end would be pretty killer. You might be able to do this pretty easily with a Kaos pad controller, but it would be better if you could program it yourself. Add in the sustainer/harmonics control stuff from Vo and it could be pretty amazing to play with.
